| 2400 Chestnut Recycles |
 |
|
January 27, 2010
Dear Valued Resident,
We are pleased to announce that 2400 Chestnut, as of February 1, 2010
will undertake one of the most complete, if not the most complete, recycling
programs among residential high rise buildings in Philadelphia. However, we
will be unable to succeed without your participation.

 |
Residents are respectfully requested to do the following:
1. Please put all Glass, Plastic Bottles and Metallic Cans in
the gray circular receptacles in the trash room on your floor. It is an
imperative that you wash the insides of all bottles and cans so that
we will not cause Black Flies.
2. Please place all Newspapers, Magazines, Other Paper and
Flattened Cardboard in the right hand side of the trash room on
your floor.
3. Please place the remainder of your trash in the trash chute.
|
|
Landlord will do the following:
1. We will collect numbers 1 and 2 above as frequently as necessary,
probably several times a week, and take them by elevator to the
recyclable dumpster on the 24th Street level for deposit.
|
|
Clearly, the above will require significant human labor, both yours and ours.
We are most grateful for your help in this very important matter.
Respectfully Submitted,
The Management
NB: It is possible that after we’ve implemented the above program, we will
tweak it a bit. We will keep you informed.
